Giving Voice Poster Project
Adonis and I connected through our interest in helping the hungry. We also share a passion for drawing and illustrating that allowed us to work well together to come up with a visual solution for our social cause. We brainstormed several ideas to communicate our message, and landed on our concept of illustrating the world made up of a variety of fruits and vegetables. Adonis shared some of his drawings with me and I took notice to his use of beautiful blue tones in his work, so we wanted to incorporate those colors in the final poster.
Our goal was to bring awareness to world hunger using a positive message, so we made use of bright colors and an encouraging line to “feed the world.” We hope to inspire people to help those who are hungry and in need around the globe.
Opening poster show and auction is this Friday, July 18th at Access Gallery from 6–9pm! All proceeds benefit VSA Access Gallery and Giving Voice.
